- Promoter seeks damages and court orders to stop conflicting fights.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is being sued by CSI Entertainment, a promoter who claims they paid the boxer $4.65 million in advance for exclusive rights to two major fights. The lawsuit, filed recently, alleges these deals were for an exhibition bout against Mike Tyson and a rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
According to the complaint, CSI Entertainment made combined payments totaling $4.5 million to Mayweather's management company for these exclusive rights, with Mayweather himself reportedly signing off on the agreement. The promoter asserts that Mayweather subsequently violated this agreement by announcing a fight against Mike Zambidis with a different promoter shortly after receiving a $150,000 advance for the Tyson bout.
Further allegations include Mayweather secretly arranging a separate deal with Netflix for the Pacquiao fight from Las Vegas. CSI Entertainment states they have invested significant resources and would suffer irreparable harm if these rights are lost. They are seeking damages, repayment of funds, and court orders to halt the Zambidis fight and the Netflix event.
This legal action comes while Mayweather himself is embroiled in a separate $175 million fraud lawsuit against his former manager and his management company, Frist Apex Ventures.
