Summary
- Brendan Donovan placed on 10-day IL for left groin muscle strain.
- Donovan has also dealt with right groin discomfort post-surgery.
- Infielder Will Wilson's contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma.

Seattle Mariners third baseman Brendan Donovan was placed on the 10-day injured list on April 21, 2026, retroactive to Saturday, due to a left groin muscle strain. Donovan had exited Friday's game with a left hip issue and has been experiencing discomfort in his right groin for two weeks. Manager Dan Wilson indicated this may be related to a sports hernia surgery performed on October 7th. Donovan, 29, has been hitting .304 with three home runs and eight RBIs in 18 games this season.
To fill the roster spot, the Mariners selected the contract of infielder Will Wilson from Triple-A Tacoma. Wilson, 27, made his major league debut last season with the Cleveland Guardians and has hit .275 with one home run in 14 games for Tacoma this season. Additionally, utility infielder Miles Mastrobuoni was transferred to the 60-day injured list after initially starting the season on the 10-day IL due to a calf injury sustained during the World Baseball Classic.
