Seigo Masubuchi, a familiar face and "ushertainer" for the St. Paul Saints, achieved a remarkable milestone by completing his 100th marathon. He ran the full 26.2 miles by completing 84 laps on the concourse of CHS Field on a recent Sunday. This event was dedicated to supporting Special Olympics Minnesota, with Masubuchi successfully raising funds for the organization.
Adding a special touch to the occasion, six Special Olympics athletes participated in the marathon, running alongside Masubuchi. Some of these athletes, initially planning to run only one lap, continued for multiple laps due to their enjoyment. Masubuchi, who has a history of using his marathons for charitable causes, previously raised funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital. His next race is scheduled for the upcoming Saturday.
