Manush Shah Wins Big at Home WTT Feeder

Manush Shah has emerged victorious at the WTT Feeder Vadodara 2026, securing the singles title on home soil. The Indian table tennis star expressed his pride in Vadodara hosting such a significant international competition, believing it will inspire more young athletes. Shah shared that he typically spends eleven months a year training abroad, making his hometown victories particularly special.

Reflecting on his career, Shah noted the positive results he consistently achieves when competing in Gujarat, specifically Vadodara and Surat. He lauded the state's developing table tennis infrastructure and the Gujarat State Table Tennis Association's efforts in organizing a well-defined annual calendar. Shah also expressed optimism about the future of Indian table tennis, with numerous players performing well at various levels globally.

Beyond his singles success, Shah, who is ranked world number 6 in doubles with Manav Thakkar, is preparing for upcoming tournaments in Doha and Muscat. He emphasized the challenge of managing multiple events while prioritizing injury prevention. Shah also shared personal insights, including learning to cook while living independently in Europe and his aspiration to represent India at the Asian Games.
