As of July 31st, 2025, the LSU Tigers have made a strong push in the 2027 recruiting cycle, emerging as a top contender for elite cornerback prospect Hayden Stepp. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Stepp is the #3 rated cornerback in the 2027 class and has garnered interest from several top programs.

Just this week, LSU secondary coach Corey Raymond extended an offer to Stepp, who has already received offers from the likes of Oregon, Miami, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State.
