Liverpool urged to spend £100m on midfielder

Liverpool has been strongly encouraged to invest upwards of £100 million in a Premier League midfielder during the final weeks of the transfer window. However, pursuing such an expensive transfer for Wharton seems unlikely for Liverpool, especially with ongoing interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola. Wharton, praised by Declan Rice as 'top-level,' has proven himself in the Premier League with 70 appearances for Crystal Palace.
