- Hundreds of supporters permanently banned for ticket misuse.
- Club analysed nearly 700,000 ticket registrations for suspicious activity.

Liverpool FC's robust campaign against illegal ticket touting, conducted in collaboration with Merseyside Police, has successfully recovered over £1.2 million in seized assets.
The club's economic crime team, working with police, meticulously analyzed nearly 700,000 ticket registrations during the 2024/25 season. This initiative led to the detention of substantial assets under the Proceeds of Crime Act, with two individuals already convicted and more facing court appearances. Funds recovered will be shared between law enforcement agencies.
Furthermore, Liverpool FC took decisive action against ticketing system misuse during the 2025/26 season. Over 67,000 suspected fake accounts were blocked, and 432 supporters received lifetime bans. An additional 121,000 accounts remain under investigation, and 115 accounts are suspended indefinitely, with potential reinstatement after approximately three years.
Matchday operations also saw increased vigilance, with a 33% rise in burner phone seizures around Anfield compared to the previous season. Detective Chief Inspector Nick Suffield emphasized the priority of protecting genuine supporters from touts, promising continued action against those operating online and on match days.
