The Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) recently injected an additional $266.6 million into LIV Golf, an investment approved on February 1, 2026. This latest capital infusion means the total investment by PIF in the golf league is expected to surpass $6 billion by the end of 2026.
Since its inception in 2022, PIF has committed $5.3 billion to LIV Golf. This funding strategy has involved regular capital injections, with an average net spending of $100 million per month over the past two years.
LIV Golf has also enhanced its competitive landscape by increasing tournament purses by $65 million for the current year. Each tournament's prize money pool has risen to $32.3 million, with a notable portion allocated to the league's team competitions.
