A lip reader has revealed the exact words exchanged between Simon Jordan and Eni Aluko during a furious exchange on talkSPORT this past Tuesday. Jordan was heard telling Aluko, "But nobody cares, drop this. It's definitely you. I know it. I know." The heated on-air debate stemmed from Aluko's recent comments reigniting her feud with former footballer Ian Wright.

Aluko had sparked controversy by calling for women's football to be "gatekept" by women, arguing that male pundits like Wright and Nedum Onuoha were occupying prime spots. She suggested that female athletes with extensive experience, such as herself and Fara Williams, should be the primary voices in women's sports coverage.

Before the advert break where the lip-read exchange occurred, Jordan had sharply criticized Aluko, describing her as not "particularly enlightening, illuminating, engaging or charismatic." He also questioned her "sense of entitlement" and suggested that diversity initiatives had placed individuals in positions they hadn't merited.
