25 Mar
Summary
- Ben Bartch signed with the Lions after a recent visit.
- Bartch previously played for the Jaguars and 49ers.
- The Lions' offensive line has seen additions and departures this offseason.

The Detroit Lions have officially signed offensive lineman Ben Bartch, following his recent visit to the team. Bartch, originally a fourth-round pick by the Jaguars in 2020, spent time with both Jacksonville and San Francisco. He played 41 games for the Jaguars before joining the 49ers off their practice squad in 2023, appearing in 14 regular-season and three postseason games. This signing addresses the Lions' offensive line needs. The team has also added Cade Mays, Larry Borom, and Juice Scruggs to the unit this offseason. These additions aim to offset the departures of starting offensive linemen Taylor Decker and Graham Glasgow since the conclusion of the 2025 season.
