Lions Player Injured, Game Suspended in Powerful Show of Unity

On August 4th, 2025, a preseason game between the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons took a somber turn when Lions cornerback Morice Norris suffered a serious injury late in the fourth quarter. Norris was involved in a collision with Falcons running back Nathan Carter and appeared to lose consciousness on the field.
