5 Jun
Summary
- Terrion Arnold and Sam LaPorta practiced in limited capacity.
- Kendrick Law suffered a torn ACL, out indefinitely.
- Offensive line combinations saw several changes during practice.

The Detroit Lions held their sixth OTA practice, with Terrion Arnold and Sam LaPorta returning to limited participation. Unfortunately, Kendrick Law sustained a torn ACL and will be out indefinitely. Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph remain sidelined and are not expected back for OTAs or minicamp. The practice included a lengthy walkthrough session, followed by individual drills and a brief situational exercise.
Coach Dan Campbell advised against reading too much into player positioning during drills. However, observations revealed shifts in the offensive line's depth chart, with new players listed at tackle and guard positions. The team concluded practice with a situational drill simulating a game-ending scenario. The first team attempted a 61-yard field goal after a draw play and spike, which was missed. The second team's attempt also led to a missed field goal.
In the situational drill, the offense faced a one-point deficit with 14 seconds left and no timeouts from the opponent's 48-yard line. The first team ran a draw play, gained yardage, and spiked the ball, leaving kicker Jake Bates to attempt a 61-yard field goal, which sailed wide right. The second team, led by Teddy Bridgewater, managed the clock down to one second before an attempted field goal.
