Fear Carries GB Flag: Ice Dancer's Inspiring Journey

Figure skater Lilah Fear, an Olympic medal hopeful, has been honored as one of Team GB's flagbearers for the upcoming opening ceremony. This prestigious role marks a significant moment for the 26-year-old athlete, who hails from London.

Fear and her partner, Lewis Gibson, are highly anticipated to contend for Britain's first figure skating medal since 1994. Their performance will be accompanied by music from the Spice Girls for their rhythm dance and a Scottish-themed medley for their free dance, reflecting Fear's background and inspirations.

Her former PE teacher, Gemma Cooke, from South Hampstead High School, reminisced about Fear's time at the institution, describing her as a "delightful" and "extremely committed" student.
