Lewis Hamilton declared that Formula 1 has "never had anyone like me in seventy years," addressing inquiries about his potential to continue racing into the 2030s. Hamilton, in his 20th F1 season, is contracted with Ferrari until the end of 2027.
He dismissed concerns about age affecting reaction times, stating he is "built differently" and can still compete effectively. Hamilton noted that tools exist to maintain mental sharpness and that he remains "all in" for the foreseeable future, aiming to prove he still has the performance, as he did in the past year.
The driver acknowledged that competing at an advanced age, like 44, against younger competitors is uncertain, but at 41, he feels he can hold his own. Hamilton stated he does not want to overstay his welcome by lacking performance, emphasizing his commitment to maintain his driving standards.
