Leeds United Women Face Huddersfield in Cup Clash

Leeds United Women are set to compete at home this afternoon, welcoming Huddersfield Town Women to the BD Community Stadium for an FA WNL Cup Group T fixture. The team is participating in a West Yorkshire derby, a match that has prompted some adjustments in the defensive lineup by manager Simon Wood.

Carrie Simpson will be in goal for the Whites, protected by a defense comprising Alayna Millard, captain Shauna Legge, Izzy Dean, and Darcie Greene. The midfield will be anchored by Alice Hughes, Ellie White, and Kath Smith. Upfront, Amy Woodruff, who has scored seven goals this season, will be supported by Chloe Dixon and Drew Greene, who makes a return to the starting eleven.
