Lazio Shakes Up Lineup Ahead of Cagliari Clash
2 Nov
Summary
- Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri to make changes to starting lineup
 - Lazio dealing with injury crisis, missing several key players
 - Manuel Lazzari to replace Luca Pellegrini at right-back

As Lazio prepare to face Cagliari on Monday, manager Maurizio Sarri is set to make a few changes to his starting lineup. This comes after a challenging week for the Biancocelesti, who secured a 1-0 victory over Juventus last Sunday but then settled for a goalless draw against Pisa on Thursday.
Sarri's options are limited due to an ongoing injury crisis at the club. Lazio will be without several key players, including Taty Castellanos, Nicolo Rovella, and Matteo Cancellieri. Additionally, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Samuel Gigot are also sidelined and unavailable for the Serie A squad.
Despite these setbacks, Sarri is expected to inject some fresh blood into the team. One notable change will see Manuel Lazzari replace Luca Pellegrini at right-back, with Adam Marusic moving to the left side of the defense. Elseid Hysaj and Nuno Tavares are also in contention, but neither is likely to start.
In midfield, Sarri is tipped to drop Toma Basic in favor of Matias Vecino, who will join Danilo Cataldi and Matteo Guendouzi in the center of the park. Up front, the attacking trio of Gustav Isaksen, Mattia Zaccagni, and Boulaye Dia is expected to remain unchanged.
Lazio's contest against Cagliari will take place at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday evening, with kickoff scheduled for 20:45 CET.
