- He is one goal away from Kylian Mbappe's record.
- Yamal turns 20 next July, with time to extend his tally.
Barcelona's prodigious talent, Lamine Yamal, is rapidly approaching a notable UEFA Champions League milestone. As of October 12, 2026, the 19-year-old winger has accumulated 12 goals and 11 assists in 34 continental matches. This impressive scoring record places him just one goal behind the mark set by France's Kylian Mbappe before the age of 20.
Yamal's latest goal, scored against Feyenoord in the 2026-2027 league phase, brought him to 12 goals, highlighting his burgeoning career. Crucially, Yamal will not turn 20 until July of next year, providing him with a considerable window to further enhance his goal-scoring statistics.
Barcelona is set to face Galatasaray in Istanbul on October 13, 2026. This upcoming fixture presents Yamal with an immediate opportunity to equal or surpass Kylian Mbappe's impressive pre-20 goal-scoring record in the prestigious tournament.
