Luka Doncic is reportedly "not close" to returning for the Los Angeles Lakers as they prepare to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. Reports indicate a "slow path" to recovery, with his absence expected for at least another week to ten days.
In a dramatic turn, the Philadelphia 76ers achieved a historic comeback against the Boston Celtics. Despite being down 3-1 in the series, the 76ers won three consecutive games, culminating in a Game 7 victory. This remarkable feat makes them the first No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference to eliminate a No. 2 seed in a best-of-seven series.
Joel Embiid led the 76ers' decisive 109-100 win in Game 7 with 34 points, while Tyrese Maxey contributed 30 points. The Celtics, playing without Jayson Tatum due to a leg injury, struggled to overcome an early deficit, ultimately succumbing to the 76ers' historic charge. Embiid and Maxey's performances were pivotal in this monumental playoff upset.
