26 Mar
Summary
- National Court's Prosecutor's Office dismissed La Liga's lawsuit against the players' association.
- The suit challenged a 15-second on-field protest by players.
- Players protested La Liga's plan to move a match to Miami.

The National Court's Prosecutor's Office has dismissed a legal challenge brought forth by La Liga against the Spanish Footballers' Association (AFE). La Liga president Javier Tebas had spearheaded the lawsuit, seeking to classify a brief, 15-second on-field protest by players as an illegal strike.
The player demonstrations took place earlier this season across the league. Notable clubs such as Barcelona and Villarreal had players participate in the protest. The core of their objection was against the controversial plan to move a regular-season fixture to Miami.
