The Seattle Kraken concluded a challenging six-game losing streak Thursday night, triumphing over the Vegas Golden Knights in a 4-3 shootout victory. This marks only the second win for the Kraken in their last twelve contests. Vegas, who had been on a four-game winning streak under new head coach John Tortorella, could not extend their success.
Mark Stone initially put Vegas ahead, but Jared McCann's power-play goal late in the second period ignited Seattle's offense, breaking a long drought. Berkly Catton tied the game in the third period, and Bobby McMann added another goal to force the shootout, where Catton ultimately sealed the win. Goaltender Joey Daccord made 31 saves for the Kraken.
