Bristol Rovers has bolstered its defensive ranks with the loan acquisition of Kofi Balmer from Scottish Premiership side Motherwell. The 25-year-old centre-back has agreed to a deal that will keep him at the club until the conclusion of the current season.
Balmer brings a wealth of experience, having previously played in the English Football League for Port Vale and AFC Wimbledon during loan spells from Crystal Palace. He transitioned to Motherwell in the summer of 2024 and has made 31 appearances, though his first-team involvement has been limited since late September 2025.
