Jose Alvarado delivered a sensational performance, scoring 26 points with eight three-pointers during the New York Knicks' resounding 138-89 win against the Philadelphia 76ers. Playing less than 19 minutes, Alvarado, who is of Puerto Rican descent, showcased his offensive prowess coming off the bench.
Alvarado's scoring surge proved crucial as Knicks star Jalen Brunson managed only nine points. The Knicks' victory was a statement, especially after a tough overtime loss the previous night. They built a substantial lead, ultimately outscoring the 76ers by 49 points. Tyrese Maxey was a standout for the 76ers, contributing 32 points, but it was not enough to overcome the Knicks' offensive firepower.
