World champion Aditi Gopichand Swami showcased her prowess at the Khelo India University Games 2025, securing a gold medal in the compound women's individual archery event on Day 5. Her dominant performance continued her unbeaten streak in Khelo India competitions, marking a successful debut at the university level.
In the swimming events, Jain University emerged as a powerhouse, with Olympian Srihari Nataraj and Bhavya Sachdeva contributing significantly to their tally. The university concluded its swimming campaign with an impressive 27 gold medals, placing them firmly at the top of the overall medal standings with a total of 45 medals.
The fifth edition of the Khelo India University Games is a grand spectacle, hosted across seven cities in Rajasthan. It brings together 4448 athletes from 222 universities, competing in 23 different medal disciplines. The event is being conducted under the aegis of the Sports Authority of India in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Sports Council.
