Wolves Secure Free Transfer for Kieran Trippier

Kieran Trippier is nearing a move to the Championship club Wolves, having agreed to a free transfer upon his departure from Newcastle. The 35-year-old is expected to sign a two-year deal, with the option for an additional year, marking the first summer signing for the club.

Trippier's departure from Newcastle was confirmed earlier this spring, concluding his tenure that began in January 2022. During his time with the Magpies, he was a pivotal player, contributing to their rise from relegation battles to European competition and cup finals.

His move to Wolves will provide the team with much-needed Premier League experience and veteran leadership. This signing is seen as crucial for Wolves as they aim to improve their standing after a challenging season.
