Kentucky Wildcats Poised to Land 5-Star Recruit Christian Collins

As of November 11th, 2025, the Kentucky Wildcats have yet to secure any commitments for their 2026 basketball recruiting class. However, that could soon change, as the team has emerged as the frontrunner to land 5-star power forward Christian Collins.

Collins, a 6'8" 200-pound prospect who plays at St. John Bosco, is ranked as the 7th-best player in the 2026 class according to 247Sports' composite rankings. While he still has room to improve his shooting, Collins is described as an "athletic freak" with significant long-term potential.

The Wildcats were previously in the mix for another top recruit, Tyran Stokes, but have now shifted their focus to Collins, who is expected to commit in the near future. Coach Mark Pope and Kentucky are also in the running for several other top-10 players in the 2026 class, so this group could quickly transform from an empty class to a loaded one filled with 5-star talent.

With the 2026 recruiting cycle winding down, the Wildcats appear to be in a strong position to land the highly-touted Collins. If they can close the deal, it would be a major coup for the program and set them up for continued success in the years to come.
