Sixteen-year-old Kennet Eichhorn has informed Hertha Berlin of his decision to depart at the end of the season. He desires to play in the Bundesliga next year, aiming for high-level training and a role with a prominent club. Eintracht Frankfurt is currently favored to secure Eichhorn, with coach Albert Riera's prospects of providing playing time being a key factor.
Despite an ongoing ankle injury, which is reportedly worse than initially assessed, Eichhorn's release clause is expected to remain between €10-12 million. Before his injury, the midfielder made 14 appearances for Hertha's senior team, scoring one goal in the DFB Pokal. His debut for the senior squad occurred at the start of the current season.
