Kelsey Mitchell Unfollows Fever? Social Media Sparks Trade Rumors

Kelsey Mitchell, an unrestricted free agent, is at the center of intense speculation regarding her future with the Indiana Fever. She concluded the recent season with a career-high average of 24.7 points per game, earning third-place in MVP voting. Despite her stellar performance, the Fever's early playoff exit has amplified concerns about her departure.

The Indiana Fever have made retaining Mitchell a top priority this offseason. However, Mitchell has indicated she is looking out for her own interests, suggesting the team must offer a significant contract to keep her. The rumor mill churned when fans noticed Mitchell no longer followed the Indiana Fever on Instagram. This development, combined with a supportive comment from Angel Reese on Mitchell's TikTok, has led to widespread fan speculation about a potential move to Chicago.

While the accuracy of Mitchell's prior Instagram following remains unconfirmed, it is evident that she does not currently follow the Indiana Fever. This situation leaves the Fever facing the critical decision of whether to meet Mitchell's demands or risk losing their leading scorer.
