On September 21, 2026, during ESPN's live broadcast from SoFi Stadium, former Eagles center Jason Kelce engaged in a lighthearted challenge with co-analyst Pat McAfee. The moment unfolded when McAfee complimented the Los Angeles Rams' mascot, Rampage. Kelce responded by humorously referencing Blue, the mascot of McAfee's former team, the Indianapolis Colts.
McAfee, who played for the Colts from 2009 to 2016, was a punter for the team. Kelce's playful remark connected McAfee's past NFL career with his current role on ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown." Both Kelce, a recent NFL retiree, and McAfee, who transitioned from playing to a prominent media career, are key analysts for ESPN's NFL coverage in the 2026 season.
