Summary
- Kashvee Gautam earned an India call-up for the Australia tour.
- She was the most expensive uncapped player in WPL history.
- Gautam achieved a rare feat by taking 10 wickets in an U-19 match.

Twenty-two-year-old cricketer Kashvee Gautam from Chandigarh has been selected for the Indian Women's ODI squad for the tour of Australia, commencing on February 15. This tour includes three T20Is, three ODIs, and one Test match.
Gautam previously made headlines as the most expensive uncapped player in the Women's Premier League, sold to Gujarat Giants for Rs 2 crore in 2023. Although she was later acquired for Rs 65 lakh in the subsequent auction, her consistent performance for the team has now earned her a place in the national squad.
Her cricketing journey began at a young age, and she gained significant recognition in 2020 for taking all 10 wickets against Arunachal Pradesh in a BCCI Women's U-19 One Day Tournament, a first for an Indian woman cricketer. This selection marks her debut in the Indian senior team colours.
