Kamaru Usman, a celebrated UFC legend, has put forth a potential next opponent for the promising middleweight contender, Bo Nickal. Usman proposed that Nickal take on Anthony Hernandez in his upcoming bout.
Nickal is looking to rebound after suffering his first professional defeat against Reinier de Ridder. Prior to that, he had secured two consecutive knockout victories. Hernandez, on the other hand, is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Gregory Rodriguez.
Usman shared his thoughts on the "Pound 4 Pound" podcast, highlighting the strategic value of a Nickal versus Hernandez pairing. He suggested that such a fight would serve as an excellent opportunity to test Nickal's capabilities and potentially move him closer to the top 10 rankings.
Furthermore, Usman dismissed the idea of Hernandez dropping to the welterweight division. He argued that there are numerous compelling matchups for Hernandez within the middleweight division, including potential fights against top contenders and other promising athletes like Caio Borralho and Christian Leroy Duncan.
