Summary

- Woolery suffered a knee injury in September 2024.
- He could debut against former club Swindon Town.

Tranmere Rovers has announced the signing of forward Kaiyne Woolery, securing his services until the conclusion of the current season. This marks Woolery's return to the Prenton Park club, where he previously netted eight goals during the 2020-21 campaign.
Woolery's return comes after a period of recovery from a knee injury. He sustained this injury in September 2024 while playing for Cypriot side Anorthosis. His only competitive football action since then was a trial match in January for Finnish club IF Gnistan.
Interim boss Pete Wild expressed his delight at the signing, stating that Woolery will add a different dynamic and allow the team to play in a new style. The team is currently on a seven-game winless streak and is six points above the League Two relegation zone. Woolery is eligible to play in Tranmere's upcoming fixture against Swindon Town, one of his previous clubs.
