K-State Reloads: Klein Lands Trio of WR Transfers

Kansas State is actively rebuilding its wide receiver unit for the 2026 season, bringing in three impactful transfers. Following a 6-6 record in 2025 and significant roster turnover, head coach Collin Klein and his staff have targeted the transfer portal to address key needs. The Wildcats secured commitments from Izaiah Williams, Joshua Manning, and Brandon White as of January 20th, 2026.

Izaiah Williams, a former four-star recruit from Tampa, Florida, brings speed and route-running ability. He arrives with three seasons of eligibility remaining, following his former offensive coordinator, Collin Klein, to Manhattan. His father, Melvin Williams, is a former Wildcat and NFL draft pick.

Joshua Manning, a talented prospect from Lee's Summit, Missouri, offers a combination of size and speed. He projects as a deep-ball threat and has familiarity with the program, including quarterback Avery Johnson and the Kansas State basketball team through his cousin.

Brandon White, a speedy and explosive receiver from Cincinnati, Ohio, joins with one season of eligibility. He previously played at Hawai'i, where he recorded 38 receptions for 399 yards and two touchdowns in 2025. White also brings return experience, potentially contributing to special teams.

These three transfers are expected to fill the void left by departing wide receivers, including the team's leading pass-catcher from the 2025 season. They join a receiving corps that includes returning receptions leader Jaron Tibbs, aiming to provide significant support for quarterback Avery Johnson in the upcoming season.
