McKennie & David Power Juventus Closer to UCL Knockout

Juventus is now positioned one point away from securing a seeded playoff spot in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage, thanks to a stellar performance from its CONCACAF stars. Weston McKennie opened the scoring with a skillful strike in the 67th minute, marking his second goal in as many Champions League appearances for the Turin club. His impressive form continued in this crucial European fixture.

Following McKennie's opener, Canada's Jonathan David sealed the win in the 73rd minute. David's goal further solidified his status as a key player, as he now holds the record for the most career Champions League goals by a Canadian. This victory brings Juventus tantalizingly close to a coveted seeded playoff position.

A seeded playoff spot would grant Juventus the significant advantage of playing the second leg of their knockout stage tie on home soil. This pivotal moment in their European campaign underscores the impact of McKennie and David as Juventus aims to advance further in the prestigious competition.
