16 Nov
Summary
- Juventus interested in Elche midfielder Rodrigo Mendoza
- Mendoza has a €20 million release clause in his contract
- Manchester City and Real Madrid also monitoring the 20-year-old

As of November 16th, 2025, Italian giants Juventus are closely monitoring Elche's rising star Rodrigo Mendoza. The 20-year-old Spanish midfielder has caught the eye of the Bianconeri, who have been scouting him for several months.
Mendoza has impressed this season, scoring two goals in 10 appearances across all competitions. Juventus first took notice of the young talent during the U20 World Cup and have continued to follow his progress, including during his recent call-up to the Spain U21 national team.
The Bianconeri are reportedly interested in Mendoza as they search for a new deep-lying playmaker. The youngster has already drawn comparisons to Barcelona's Pedri in his home country. Elche rejected offers from Saudi clubs and Como in the summer before Mendoza signed a new contract until 2028, which includes a €20 million release clause.
Juventus will face stiff competition for Mendoza's signature, as Manchester City and Real Madrid are also said to be monitoring the promising midfielder. The Italian club will look to make their move in the coming months to bring the 20-year-old to Turin.
