Rodriguez Hit By Throw, Exits Mariners Game

Seattle Mariners center fielder Julio Rodriguez departed from Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Angels after an errant throw struck him in the head. The incident occurred in the bottom of the first inning when Rodriguez, who had walked, was hit by a throw from first baseman Nolan Schanuel as he began to slide.

Initially, Rodriguez remained in the game, with trainers and the manager conferring with him on the field. However, he was later seen speaking with trainers again and left for the clubhouse in the second inning. Victor Robles replaced Rodriguez in center field for the Mariners when they took the field in the third inning.
