Bombay High Court's Justice Farhan Parvez Dubas emerged victorious in the men's singles at the second All India Judges Badminton Tournament 2026. Justice Savitri Ratho of Orissa High Court secured the women's singles title, capping off an impressive performance. The tournament, held at the Mega Sports Complex in Ranchi, celebrated athletic prowess among legal professionals.
The two-day championship, which began on January 3, 2026, hosted 31 judges representing nine High Courts. Competitions spanned men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles, and mixed doubles, fostering a spirit of friendly rivalry. Judges from Allahabad, Bombay, Madras, Rajasthan, Telangana, Kerala, Orissa, Karnataka, and Jharkhand High Courts showcased their skills on the court.
This event followed the inaugural tournament organized by Orissa High Court last year. The Jharkhand High Court, inspired by the previous event, took the initiative to host this year's championship, further strengthening the bond among the nation's judiciary through sport.
