Packers' Josh Jacobs Set for Return After Six-Game Absence

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is set to be reinstated on Monday, October 19, as announced by the NFL on Friday. He has been absent for the first six games of the season while on the exempt list. This administrative change permits Jacobs to return to practice and be available for selection in the Packers' upcoming Week 7 game scheduled for October 25.

Despite his removal from the exempt list, the NFL confirmed that its investigation into Jacobs concerning a violation of the personal conduct policy is still active. The league initiated this review following an arrest in May. The outcome of this ongoing investigation could still lead to a suspension for the running back, regardless of his current roster status.
