Cignetti acknowledged the comparison to Mendoza, noting that success isn't always immediate. Hoover, with an NIL valuation of $4 million, aims to improve his ball security, as he recorded 33 interceptions and 14 fumbles during his college career at TCU. His transfer occurred on December 18, and he officially joined Indiana on January 4.
