Ex-Pro: Bills' Josh Allen Is Next in Line for Title

A former Buffalo Bills Pro Bowler, Mitch Morse, has expressed strong confidence that quarterback Josh Allen is on the cusp of winning a Super Bowl. Morse conveyed a personal belief that Allen's championship window is opening, suggesting it's his turn to claim a title before the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes achieve their next one.

Morse acknowledged the significant transition the Bills are undergoing with a new head coach but stressed that Allen's high standard of performance remains. While Allen has led the Bills to two AFC Championship games, he has yet to reach the Super Bowl. In contrast, Mahomes has already secured three.

Despite a slight dip in efficiency during the 2025 season, marked by a career-high 40 sacks and increased interceptions, the Bills have made offseason moves. The trade for DJ Moore and the selection of WR Skyler Bell are expected to bolster the team. Morse is particularly hopeful that defensive improvements, inspired by Vance Joseph's work with the Denver Broncos, will provide Allen with more opportunities to win.

The organization is also preparing to open a new stadium in 2026 and hopes to celebrate with a successful season culminating in a championship. The pressure is on Allen to perform, but Morse is convinced he can deliver before his rival Mahomes reclaims the top spot.
