Joey Votto to Call Reds-Cubs Game on NBC

Cincinnati Reds fans will see a familiar face in the broadcast booth for the Sunday, August 30th game against the Chicago Cubs. Former Reds player Joey Votto is slated to join the "Sunday Night Baseball" broadcast.

This particular matchup, scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET at Wrigley Field, will be aired on NBC and Peacock. It is important for fans to note that the game will not be available on Reds.TV, unlike the previous two games in the series.

Jason Benetti will handle play-by-play, with analysts Anthony Rizzo and Jeff Brantley. Host Ahmed Fareed and Votto will lead the pregame show, where Votto will offer commentary from a batter's perspective.

Following this series, the Reds will travel to San Diego for a three-game series against the Padres from August 31st to September 2nd.
