Summary
- Joel Embiid is available to play against the Rockets.
- The 76ers are currently eighth in the Eastern Conference standings.
- This is the second and final meeting between the Sixers and Rockets this season.
The Philadelphia 76ers are preparing to face the Houston Rockets on Thursday night, aiming to break a five-game losing skid. Star center Joel Embiid is expected to play, as he is not on the official injury report. Embiid had been sidelined due to an oblique strain and illness.
His return is timely for the Sixers, who are currently eighth in the Eastern Conference standings. This position currently qualifies them for the Play-In Tournament, but the team is striving to improve its seeding with only two games remaining after this contest.
This game represents the second and final regular-season matchup between the 76ers and the Rockets. Philadelphia secured a victory in their previous meeting back in January.
