FSU Star Beachum Joins Red Raiders

Jaysoni Beachum is set to play her senior year of softball at Texas Tech. The former Florida State standout announced her decision to transfer to the Red Raiders on Thursday, following her entry into the transfer portal earlier this month. Beachum spent three seasons with the Seminoles before making the surprising decision to transfer. She was one of the most notable players available in the portal. Beachum garnered significant interest from other programs during her recruitment. She visited schools including Oklahoma State and several SEC teams like Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Ultimately, she chose Texas Tech, a team that recently competed in the Women's College World Series, losing to Texas.
