Addressing the controversy, Dart defended his approach by drawing parallels to quarterbacks like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, noting they also sustain hits. General Manager Joe Schoen voiced approval of Dart's rookie season, citing his impressive ability to throw downfield, off-platform, and extend plays, stating he has exceeded expectations. While acknowledging the quarterback's influence, Schoen emphasized that coaching decisions will also heavily rely on the experience of long-term staff.
