Witten, who is 43 years old, enjoyed an illustrious 11-time Pro Bowl career as a tight end, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys from 2003 to 2017 and in 2019, followed by a stint with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020. His NFL statistics are remarkable, with 1,228 receptions for 13,046 yards and 74 touchdowns across 271 games.
Prior to this coaching appointment, Witten served as head coach at Liberty Christian School in Dallas since 2021. He was a third-round pick out of Tennessee in the 2003 NFL Draft and remains the Cowboys' all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards.
