NFL Insiders Rank Goff 9th, Top QB in NFC North

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff secured the ninth spot in ESPN's latest ranking of the top quarterbacks, a position affirmed by NFL executives, coaches, and scouts. This ranking places him as the leading quarterback within the NFC North division for the current assessment period.

League insiders reportedly commended Goff for his proficient mechanics, notable toughness, and sound decision-making capabilities. One anonymous NFL coordinator highlighted his ability to consistently find completions, even under pressure, describing him as a mature pocket passer with a capable arm for all levels of throws.

Jared Goff's ranking remained consistent at ninth, a position he also held in the previous year's poll. His highest placement on a single ballot was fifth. Approximately 60% of the voting participants included Goff in their top-10 lists.

In other NFC North quarterback news, Chicago Bears' Caleb Williams entered the top-10 for the first time, occupying the final position. For the second consecutive year, Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers received only an honorable mention. Quarterbacks from the Minnesota Vikings were not recognized in the poll due to significant performance issues in the prior season.
