Summary
- Jalen Hurts' navy blue coat, beige vest and pants outfit draws fan mockery
- Peyton Manning praises Hurts' commitment to mastering the "cerebral part" of the game
- Hurts aims to lead Eagles to victory at Lambeau Field, scene of his NFL debut

On November 11th, 2025, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts made headlines for his unique pregame attire at Lambeau Field. As Hurts boarded the bus to the stadium, he was spotted wearing a navy blue coat, beige vest and pants, a white shirt, black tie, and tan suede shoes, along with sunglasses and carrying a black bag and silver suitcase.
Hurts' unconventional gameday look immediately sparked a flurry of mockery and criticism from fans on social media. However, Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning offered a different perspective, praising Hurts' commitment to mastering the "cerebral part" of the game.
"The fact that he's going all-in trying to learn and trying to master the cerebral part, I think it's just a great quality," Manning said in an interview. The former Super Bowl champion also expressed his long-standing admiration for Hurts, stating that the Eagles quarterback "didn't have to win a Super Bowl to prove anything" to him.
As the Eagles prepare to face the Packers at Lambeau Field, the site of Hurts' NFL debut in 2020, the young quarterback is hoping for a different outcome. In that previous matchup, Hurts replaced an injured Carson Wentz and led a comeback effort that ultimately fell short in a 30-16 loss. Now, Hurts is determined to lead his team to victory and build on their strong 6-2 start to the season.
