The Raghu Sinha ITF Masters 400 Tennis 2025 tournament officially began on Wednesday at the Jaipur Club courts, marking the start of a five-day competition organized by the Raghu Sinha Tennis Club and held under the International Tennis Federation's umbrella. Rajasthan Tennis Association secretary Prof. Rajeev Sharma inaugurated the event, highlighting the commitment to sportsmanship and the promotion of tennis.
Significant prize money is up for grabs, with men's singles winners earning Rs 5,000 and the runner-up receiving Rs 4,000. In doubles, the winning pair will take home Rs 8,000, and the runners-up Rs 5,000. Women's singles competitors can secure Rs 3,500 for a win and Rs 2,500 for the runner-up position.
This year's tournament introduces modern conveniences for players, including live broadcasting and real-time scoring accessible on mobile phones. Tournament director CA Pradeep Jain and event coordinator Lalit Singh Taleda emphasized these advancements, aiming to elevate the player experience. Several men's singles matches across various age categories have already been played.
