On October 6, 2025, the 30th Rajasthan State Sub-Junior Handball Championship concluded with the Jaipur girls' team clinching the title. The Jaipur girls displayed a brilliant performance, defeating the hosts Hanumangarh 26-21 in the summit clash.
The Jaipur girls led 11-8 at halftime and extended their lead to emerge as the champions. In the boys' final, Bikaner edged past Ganganagar 25-22, with the halftime score being 14-12. In the third-place match, the Jaipur district boys outclassed Sikar 17-13, with the halftime score being 8-9.
Jaipur's captain Ekta Kanwar was named the best player in the girls' category, while Govind of Bikaner was adjudged as the best player in the boys' section. Both players were awarded cash prizes of Rs 2,100 each by the Rajasthan State Handball Association.
The Jaipur District Handball Association president, Dr. Manish Agarwal, and the honorary secretary, Arun Pratap Singh, along with the entire executive, appreciated the achievement of the girls' and boys' teams and congratulated all the players and coaches.
