Morant's status uncertain for Wednesday's game

Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies' star guard, is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Morant suffered an ankle injury during the fourth quarter of Monday's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, and his availability for the upcoming contest remains uncertain.

The team is already set to be without Cam Spencer, who has been ruled out due to personal reasons. Should Morant also be unable to play, the team will face a significant challenge in managing their backcourt.

In the potential absence of both Morant and Spencer, Vince Williams is anticipated to step into a more prominent role, likely serving as the de facto point guard. This situation highlights the team's depth and adaptability as they navigate player availability.
