22 Jan
Summary
- Inter manager Chivu faces intensity issues due to multiple competitions.
- Lautaro Martinez struggles to perform in crucial matches.
- Goalkeeper Yann Sommer's form has declined significantly.
Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu is determined to lead his team to the Scudetto in his inaugural season. Despite a strong league position, Inter faces hurdles that need immediate attention.
The primary concern for Chivu is managing team intensity. With Inter competing on multiple fronts, there's a significant risk of player fatigue and injuries, which could derail their domestic campaign.
Furthermore, star striker Lautaro Martinez has a noted tendency to underperform in crucial fixtures. Despite being Serie A's top scorer this season, he has yet to score against a top-tier opponent.
Finally, goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who was instrumental in Inter's previous Champions League run, has shown a considerable dip in form. Chivu might consider bringing in Josep Martinez to address this issue.
